Canada is one of the top and most friendly countries that accept international students from African countries and other continents.
In fact, when mentioning the best international countries for African students, Canada will always be at the top of the list.
Interestingly, many Canadian universities accept students from students from Nigeria, Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.

2. United Kingdom
The United Kingdom shortly known as the U.K is one of the to countries in the World. The U.K has a very standard education system.
Universities in the United Kingdom accept WAEC as one of the entry requirements for African students that are from the WAEC-countries.
Meanwhile, your WAEC result must have good grades (especially in English language) that are equivalent to the U.K GSCE examination.
It is also to know that African students that have WAEC equivalent results like NECO, IGCSE or GCSE may use them in place of WAEC.
Although England as a country is part of the United Kingdom, I have decided to write about separately because of it’s awesome system of education.
England as part of the United Kingdom shares land borders with Scotland to its north and Wales to its west. The Britain is the landmass where England lies.

Statistically, the U.S has the world’s largest international student population of over 1 million students in which about 30% are Africans.
Although some Universities in the U.S do not accept WAEC, many other Universities do accept it a long as you have good grades.
Notwithstanding, with or WAEC result, the United States remain one of the easiest international countries with schools that accept African students.
When we talk of a peaceful country to school, then Australia is a fantastic place that you can live and school as an international students.
One interesting fact about the Australian educational system is that you can choose to work as a student while you are still studying.
Living and schooling in Australia is also affordable than many countries on this list. In fact, Australia is one of the most recommended countries for African students that wish to study abroad.
The good news here is that many Australian universities accept students from Nigeria, Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone who have at least, a WAEC qualification.
If someone should ask of the international country that I will love to school in, I will boldly mention Norway without stammering.
In case you don’t really know much about Norway, then Norway is a country located in Northern Europe. It has it borders to Russia, Sweden and Finland on the east side.
Many Universities in Norway accept WAEC result as an entry exam. Some top Universities in Norway like the University of Oslo will require you to submit the following requirements:
Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Result or West African Examinations Council School Certificate GCE O-level or GCE A-level.
One interesting thing about schooling in Norway is that Public universities in Norway offer tuition-free education (you don’t pay tuition fees) irrespective of the country you come from.

This listing cannot be complete without mentioning this wonderful country. Spain is located in the extreme southwestern region of Europe.
Spain occupies about 85 percent of the Iberian Peninsula, which it shares with its smaller neighbour country, Portugal. Enough to the explanation, let’s head over to the real deal.
Education in Spain for Africans:
Education in Spain is one of the best around the World. Spain is a popular study abroad destination for international students including those from West African countries.
Students from WAEC Countries (Nigeria, Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone) and other African countries can pursue their degree in Spain.
Universities in Germany are known for accepting students from many parts of the World including those from Africa, Asia, and so on
Although some Universities in Germany may not accept WAEC without other qualification exams to back it up, many other Universities do accept WAEC as long as the grades are equivalent to their entry qualification exam.
Notwithstanding, with or without WAEC, German Universities will always accept students from Africa who meet their entry requirements.
