  2. A Schengen visa: For educational purposes you will need a Long-stay visa which costs 80 euros (€), or about 39,526 NAIRA and €99/46,487 NAIRA for long-stay.

But if the career you intend to study wouldn’t take more than one year it is advisable you go for a VLS-TS, VLS-TS is an abbreviation that means “visa long séjour valant titre de séjour”.

This is a student visa which allows you to pursue studies in France for a period of four months to one year. It  is important that this card be validated when you arrive France.

Students that will love to continue their studies after the Visa must have expired may apply for a multi-annual residence. This visa is a temporary but a long stay visa.
