This is another opportunity to share with you the list of schools that accept CCAF credits. This universities and colleges accept the community college of air force credits.

The Community College of Air Force is under the Air University, and it awards students with an associate degree.

Do Colleges take CCAF Credits?

Most people ask if other schools accept credits from CCAF in cases where the student cannot complete the program; the answer is yes.

Many colleges accept credit hours earned from a Community College Air Force degree. These colleges accept it towards a bachelor’s degree.

Universities and Colleges that Accept CCAF Credits 2023

Some schools accept Community College Air Force credits, and below is a list of some of the colleges that accept CCAF credits:

1. Webster University

Webster University does not only allow students from Community College Air Force to transfer their credits but allow those with an associate degree to apply for completion of any Webster University undergraduate degree program.

Students are allowed to transfer up to 60 credits. Documents like official transcripts and official copies of the student’s service record.

2. DeVry University

DeVry University is the next school on our list that accepts Community College Air Force credits.

The school allows students with an Associate of Applied Science degree from CCAF to transfer up to 60 credits which the student can use to get a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management (BSTM) degree.

It is also possible to transfer up to 92 credits, including military coursework, training, and professional certifications.

Students must submit official transcripts with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 from any accredited Air University.

3. University of Dayton

One university that accepts credits from Community College Air Force is the University of Dayton; the school also accepts credits from any branch of the United States Armed Forces.

Requirements needed by the school include official transcripts, personal statements, and official score reports of college-level examinations taken.

4. University of North Dakota

The University of North Dakota is partnering with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) to transfer students’ associate degree credits to earn the Air University Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC) degree.

With the AU-ABC degree, it is easy for the student to switch to any bachelor’s degree program.

Students can transfer up to 60 credits to any undergraduate program. Requirements include an official transcript from the University of North Dakota Admissions and a confirmation fee of $200.

5. Columbia Southern University

Columbia Southern University is one of the schools that accept Community College Air Force credits. With over 54 degree programs available, students can transfer previously earned credits from CCAF.

Columbia Southern University is also one of the schools that give 10% discount tuition to students, including transfer ones. Criteria like ACT, SAT, GRE, or GMAT are not required or needed for admission.

6. University of Alaska Anchorage

University of Alaska Anchorage accepts credits from all accredited institutions, including the Community College Air Force; however, these credits are only added to the student’s UAA grade point average (GPA) computation if the student needs financial aid or is eligible to graduate with honors.

Students who wish to transfer their CCAF credits must have a C to be considered. The school can make exceptions based on special requests in cases where the credits are from an unaccredited institution.

7. Grand Canyon University

Grand Canyon University accepts credits from the Community College Air Force as a graduate student.

The Admission Unit must review these credits, and all official transcripts must be collected from the CCAF and sent to the school.

After evaluation of the credits, they are applied to the student’s coursework. Grand Canyon University tailors their degree programs to maximize as many credits as possible. The flexibility makes it easier for students to get a bachelor’s degree on time.

8. Arizona State University

Arizona State University allows students to transfer their Community College Air Force credits provided the credits are at least a C grade.

Also, all credits must be from only regionally accredited colleges and universities. The school accepts a maximum of 64 hours of credit. Every course credit accepted must be similar to the Arizona State University course.

If the student has pass grades, then these grades are not added to the transfer GPA during admission.

Courses below a C grade are not accepted for transfer nor credits from an unaccredited institution.

Bottom line

The Community College Air Force gives associate degrees to students, and the students can transfer the credits from any degree program to some institutions.
